My Story

From an early age, I’ve been driven to improve people’s experience of life through design and innovation. That path led me into product design and a successful career in film, working as a set designer on international productions where rapid innovation and collaboration were essential to bringing stories to life.

Over time, a growing concern for sustainability and climate change prompted a difficult but deliberate shift. I moved into sustainable business, working with manufacturers and in sustainable architecture before deepening my expertise through postgraduate environmental studies.

Over the next 12 years, I advised organisations across New Zealand—both in-house and as a consultant—helping embed sustainability into strategy, operations and reporting. But I saw a critical gap: innovation and sustainability were rarely connected, and often poorly understood in practice.
I realised that organisations that successfully combine both are the ones that thrive, adapt, and lead.

Today, I help professionals and organisations build sustainable innovation capability as a strategic advantage—so they can create value, drive impact, and succeed in a rapidly changing world. This is the work I care about — contributing to a better world for people, nature, and future generations.
